Train to become a qualified GC-Mark Inspector
All GC-Mark assessments are conducted by qualified and registered third-party inspectors. If you feel that you are up to the task, you can apply for training here.
As a GC-Mark inspector, it will be your job to verify that the client meets all the requirements for GC-Mark certification. All assessment will be conducted on-site. As an inspector, you are an ambassador for the GC-Mark program and you will need to represent its values: objectivity, accuracy and transparency.
GC-Mark Inspectors need to be experts in their field, with practical knowledge of the relevant industry sectors. Inspection can be done on a freelance basis.
Applicants will need to provide evidence of their qualifications before entering the training program. The requirements depend on the specific category you are applying for. After training, applicants will need to pass the final exam.
Depending on your experience and qualifications, you can apply to become an inspector in one or more of the following categories:
- Social Responsibility
- Management Systems
- Service/Product Quality
- Service/Product Safety
Training Program & Course Content
Applicants will go through several training modules to ensure a consistent level of expertise. All training modules will be available at DQS eSolutions, our online platform for eLearning.
Training will cover the following aspects:
- ISO 19011 Audit Guidelines
- ISO 17020 Inspection Accreditation requirements
- GC-Mark Certification Process
- GC-Mark Inspection Methodology
- GC-Mark Reporting
- Creating an effective Corrective Action Plan
- Category-specific Module
Only applicants who pass the final exam can become a licensed GC-Mark inspector.
