UN Global Compact

The UN Global Compact

The UN Global Compact is a strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten internationally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anticorruption.

The UN Global Compact calls on companies to recognize, support and implement, within their scope of influence, a set of core values in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environment and anticorruption.

The Global Compact’s Ten Principles are based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the UN Convention against Corruption.

During an on-site audit, the DQS auditors confirm compliance with the ten principles. After passing the audit, you can use the GC-Mark label to highlight your commitment, for a period of one year.
